Emily Weber, LMSW
I consider the relationship between client and therapist one of the most important factors in therapy. As a therapist, my goal is to create a comfortable, non-judgmental space so that I can assist others with exploring negative patterns in their lives and help them to create and develop new tools to foster positive coping skills. I utilize a holistic approach to therapy, with special focus on the body and mind and how they interact. The bulk of my experience is in person-centered therapy as well as solution-focused therapy.
I specialize in issues surrounding grief and loss, life transitions, addiction, caregiver stress, and interpersonal problems. I use a trauma-informed approach to life issues with clients and incorporate mindfulness skills into my therapy practice.
