Zena Ramsey, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with a variety of issues and populations. I utilize an eclectic modality in my approach to therapy and believe therapy should be tailored to the individual client. I primarily utilize person-centered, interpersonal/psychodynamic, existential, and cognitive-behavioral approaches in therapy. I believe that effective therapy is a mixture of validating individual experiences and confronting ways of thinking/acting that lead to negative outcomes. I believe that the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and client; therefore I aim to be nonjudgmental, open-minded, and authentic in the counseling relationship.
